My dog is coughing up mucus, what is wrong?
I’d be concerned as to whether or not he actually has kennel cough. With that being said only a Vet is qualified to give out medical advice on your puppy, and he should really be examined if you are worried that he is not getting better or that he is getting worse. I know that it can be can be expensive to own a dog esp. when they get sick, but if you really feel that he isn’t getting better you should take him back to the vet. If you are unsure as to what to do call your vet. Your vet will talk to you on the phone without charging you. Whatever it is that is wrong with your puppy be it kennel cough or something else I hope that he is feeling better soon.

Unfortunately, this all seems to have begun to happen about when puppies purchased at ‘Pet stores’ usually start to ‘go downhill’…. Sorry, that doesn’t help much does it? Just do the best you can, try and stay positive, (this is a strong breed usually and that is one thing he does have going for him…..) And please keep us posted. Woof. Also, usually when a dog has ‘Kennel Cough’, the WORST place to keep him is at the vets. He already is c
