My dog ate a raisin, is he gonna get sick?
Well if it were a big dog I would say no.But considering that your dog weighs 13 pounds I would look for any signs of sickness.You might not think it but 1 raisin may be the difference between life and death.Here are some websites that say raisins are poisonous to dogs: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&safe=… Just to be sure why don’t you call the vet or your local SPCA they will help you out more than anyone here.
Oh good grief…… Get a grip, if dogs died every time they ate some “people food” which has been labelled poisoness for dogs then most dogs wouldn’t reach 6 months old! One raisin might do the same amount of damage to your dog as 1/4 tablet of asprin would to you. In large quantities they can be toxic, but it would need to be a lot. Ask your vet how many dogs he’s ever had die from chocolate/raisins/onions etc etc. You’ll find the answer despite all the panic attacks on this and other sites is actually next to none!
