Our DiskGO uses Flash technology; such components are very sensitive to power. A power loss or surge while the drive is being accessed can corrupt the drive’s flash chips. Formatting usually corrects these errors and allows normal use of the drive. Be sure to follow the correct “safe removal procedures” appropriate to your machine.
