My DirectTV Tivo is stuck at 28% when acquiring satellite info, whats wrong?
If after installing your new drive you find that your unit boots but gets stuck a message that says Setup Checking the satellite dish setup …(28%)screen and it freezes up, this isnt a problem with the drive. Heres the fix: 1. Power down the unit 2. Remove both your SAT inputs 3. Power your unit back up. Choose “I’ll fix the problem later” to get past the setup 4. When unit has completed set-up (you’ll see Tivo Central) plug SAT inputs in [Back To Top] • My Tivo is caught in a ‘reboot loop’. The ‘Almost There…’ flashes momentarily and then the Tivo starts all over again.
