My DesktopMates character doesn appear in the character selection list of the Ultra Hal program, however it does appear in the CyberBuddy character selection list, why?
If your DesktopMates character isn’t showing up in your Ultra Hal drop down list where you select characters but it does appear in your CyberBuddy selection list, if this is the case then you most likely don’t have your DesktopMates character installed to the proper character folder. This problem usually occurs with those using XP and NT systems and can be due to how the users where setup and/or how you were logged on to your system when you installed the software and characters.Your system may have been setup for multiple users rather than a single user with administrator privileges, even if your the only user on your system, it still may have you and the administrator as separate users with you also as the administrator and if this is the case what often happens is, if your logged on as the user without administrator privileges you may land up installing some software under the user’s secondary windows folder and if this happens other users won’t have access to the program, for examp
