My daughter goes to school in Minneasota and has a part time job there during the school year, she also works summers here at home in Wisconsin. How does she file federal and state taxes?

Federal is easy because it is a total of both incomes just like if you worked to jobs in a year. I believe she must file in both MN and WI for separate wages earned in each state. I’m not positive because years I have been in this situation one state was FL which has no state income tax so I didn’t need to file, but I still filled only for the portion I earned in a second state (which was MN).
