Very possibly. Your federal financial aid eligibility for the school year is initially based on income and asset data from the most recent 12-month calendar year (For example, January through December of 2006 for the 2007/2008 award year). However, if you and/or your parent(s) experience a significant change of economic circumstances during the subsequent calendar year, be sure to complete and submit a request for Recalculation of Federal Financial Eligibility. With proper documentation, your federal aid eligibility can be considered for recalculation.
