My customer has been offered telephone or group mentoring. Why can’t they meet one mentor face-to-face?
Face to face, one-to-one mentoring is always the preferred option as this allows a strong relationship to develop between the mentor and mentee. However, in some cases, group or telephone mentoring may be offered if this ensures a better match to the customer’s career aspirations or to ensure we reach the widest range of young people. All customers are asked if they are comfortable with the different types of mentoring available and are free not to accept this if they would prefer another type of mentoring.
