My course didnt need me to have a placement but I did do some work experience at the time. Can I still apply via Criterion 4.2?

To apply via Criterion 4.2, the course must have required you to complete a placement as part of your training (i.e. you could not qualify until you had completed the placement hours). You should look at Criterion 4.3 if you did not do a course with this type of placement.
