Depending on your academic background, the following list of UBC computer science courses can provide useful preparation to prospective MSS students looking to update their computer knowledge: CPSC 213, CPSC 221, CPSC 260, CPSC 310, CPSC 311 or CPSC 313. • Please note that many of these courses have pre-requisites; you should refer to the current UBC Registration Guide for information on course availability and registration procedures. • These courses are NOT considered pre-requisites to the MSS program and taking them does NOT guarantee admission to the MSS.
