Hi Sarah Upgrading your browser would only make it a tiny bit faster . If your going to download a fast browser use either Firefox or Google Chrome. It probabbly is your internet speed that is slowing it down, you may want to try Optimizing your Disk. I definitely wouldn’t use the download your friend provided you. Here are the things that can make a difference ; Get as close to the router as you can If your far from your Router, and say for example is your router is 2-3 years old as the wireless components might not be that good, it won’t be as good as the latest ones If you can use a wired connection, go for it! Keep a minimum amount of gadgetsconnected to the router. If you’ve got like 5 gadgets(Laptops, Desktops etc) connected to the router your definitely going to be a browsing at a very slow speed. Keep a miniumum of programmes your running. You shouldn’t use Bandwith but only run your browser and make sure nothing else is running your computer. Make sure you’ve done a virus scan
