My compiler doesn support #include and using namespace std. What is happening?

The header and the std namespace are relatively recent inventions (introduced in 1996, approved in the international standard in 1998). Not all compilers support these constructs yet. There are two remedies: (1) Upgrade your compiler. (g++ and Metrowerks CodeWarrior are reasonably standard compliant and are available on a number of platforms.) (2) Include the ccc_ansi.cpp file without including headers or using namespaces.
