My company purchased a multiple seat Codewarrior floating license. What do I do with multiple RegCards and multiple separate Entitlement IDs?
• Register & activate each Freescale product. Go to www.freescale.com/cwregister. Enter the Entitlement ID from each registration card • For each Entitlement ID that you register and activate, you will receive a license file from Freescale. Gather the license files into a working directory • Select one license.dat file to be the master. Open the master “license.dat” file with a text editor such as Microsoft WordPad. • Open one of the remaining license files. Copy all of the INCREMENT license keys. Append the keys to the end of the master “license.dat” file • Repeat the copy and append process for each remaining license file. Refer to the following example: Master “license.dat” BEFORE ************************************************************************************************ If this is a floating license, replace [this_host] with your license server host IP address, or your license server host name ************************************************************************************
