My club is incorporated. What is the coverage for the club and its members?

Of course, club members who are RAC members would have their own liability coverage as RAC members. However, the club itself is a legal entity or “person”. To be covered by the RAC policy, the club must first be listed as a RAC-affiliated Club which is without charge, and then pay a nominal annual fee to RAC for registration. “Registration” is optional, but there is no RAC insurance policy protection for the assets of un-registered incorporated clubs. The insurance company gives us no choice but to cover ALL members of a registered club. We must be compensated for the coverage of non-RAC members, as they contribute no revenue from membership fees to help pay for their coverage. The basic registration (and annual renewal) fee is $50 per club to cover our cost of setting up and maintaining your registration file (including postage), with no additional annual fee if 100% of club members are RAC members; or an additional $100 if 90 to 99% of club members are RAC members; or an additional $
