My child swam all summer at the cottage and really improved! Can he/she skip a level?
A. Possibly, but the practice of ‘skipping a level’ is not encouraged by our department. We feel that swim instruction within an age-relative peer group is a significant part of the learning process. If our instructors suggest that your child moves to a more advanced level, we will make that recommendation to you and will transfer your child to a greater swim level, if there is availability, at no cost to you during a current swim session.
