The way that schools, both public and private, measure the progress of its general population is by use of group-administered standardized tests. Some children score poorly in a group setting. SkyLitt testing batteries are administered in a one-to-one setting, allowing for close observation and control of the testing situation. Not all of our clients will be experiencing difficulty in school to the extent that generally warrants district-provided individually-administered “special education” testing. Private testing may be the surest way to get individual testing for your child.
