My child seems disinterested, unmotivated and bored. How will CREST help?
As a specialty school dedicated to Science, Technology, Engineering, and/or Math, CREST will attract students who have an interest in pursuing Biotechnology — Research and Development, Sustainability or Engineering. Providing subjects of interest helps to engage students in their education. Additionally, CREST specialty courses will tend to be smaller in size and will encourage interaction between students and students and students and teachers. Teachers will have a greater opportunity to maintain closer contact with students. Peer grouping in CREST specialty classes will also promote a more motivated student as they see “similar” students all around them. Project based instruction also helps actively engage students and encourages them to take personal responsibility for their education.
