My child is already on a waiting list or receiving speech/language services through the hospital or school. Would my child also benefit from private speech/language services?
Parents are encouraged to take full advantage of the preschool and school speech/language services available for their children through their local hospital, access center or school. Due to a high demand for these services, wait times are often lengthy. Private speech/language services can be accessed during the time in which children are waiting for public services. Early intervention is critical for speech and language development and future academic success. Private speech/language services can also supplement the therapy received from the hospital or school. Kelly will work in collaboration with the public speech-language pathologist to coordinate therapy goals and treatment methods.
