In order to qualify for the free or reduced meal rate, the student must select four components from the following items in order to receive the free or reduced meal – a protein (the entree), a fruit or juice, a vegetable or potato, a salad, milk or chocolate milk. If the student only selects one component (such as just the salad), that does not qualify under the program guidelines and the student will be charged full price for that item. Extra drinks are not included as part of this program either. This includes Guers Ice Tea, bottled water, or an extra milk. The student will be charged for these items.
