A. Egg allergy, even anaphylactic egg allergy is NOT a contraindication to immunisation with MMR vaccine. At the Royal Children’s Hospital 400 children with a history of egg allergy were vaccinated with MMR vaccine and only 4 had minor reactions and none required treatment.
