Most HMOs allow you to choose a different medical group for different members of your family. If you choose a pediatrician for your child at CPMC who is a member of Brown & Toland, not Hill Physicians, your child won’t have unrestricted access to UCSF specialists. If you choose a pediatrician who is a member of Hill Physicians, your child will retain his or her current level of access to UCSF specialists.
