Gifted students are classified using the following categories: Intellectual Achievement, Specific Academic Achievement in Reading, Writing, Math or Science, Creativity, Leadership and Visual Performing Arts. Each of these distinct and separate categories is used to determine eligibility for Gifted and Talented classification.
