We do this with all of our source (CD, Tape, DVD, etc.) products. None of them have a remote Power button. This is because you would typically plug your source components into the switched outlets on your receiver and leave the source in the ON position. When you turn on your receiver, all of your source components will turn on as well. This prevents you from having to press several Power buttons to turn on your system.
