My car is turbo charged, how can Hiclone help as the air is pressurised, what difference can the Hiclone make?
This is one I get asked a lot and this is where Hiclone really can benefit so please read on. I will answer the question in 2 stages as we fit Hiclones both before and after the turbo for best results. Hiclones installed after the turbo provide benefits on a number of levels because they assist both air flow and air/fuel mixing. Your turbo chager provides pressure but the air still has to move through the pipes and inlet manifold. If that air can move more easily as if the pipe were bigger in diameter and smoother that air will go into the combustion chamber more efficiently. As Hiclone improves flow charteristics by 21% by concentrating the airflow toward the center of the pipes in the same style as a tornado it reduces the resistance from the lumps and bumps on the sidewalls of the pipes and manifolds.
