All candles will produce smoke if not burned properly. Before burning your palm wax candle, be sure to trim the wick EVERY TIME to less than a 1/4 of an inch. If the flame is more than 1/2 an inch high, you will need to trim the wick. Also, keep your candle away from drafts & breezes. Long wicks, drafts and breezes will all produce black smoke.
