My cable went out…what happened at the end of the Sopranos?
Your cable did not go out. That was how it ended. The writers deliberately left the ending to your imagination. You can believe the guy who was staring at Tony in the restaurant came out of the bathroom and shot Tony while Meadow was entering the restaurant (everything goes black because Tony is dead and you are seeing the final scene through his eyes). Or you can believe that nothing happened and life moves on for the Sopranos.
