My browser keeps closing when using CardiffMail Web, why?
If you are using a University computer and using Internet Explorer to access CardiffMail Web, the reason for persistent browser problems may be that the computer does not have the latest Cardiff University desktop image. To find out which image is installed on your computer: • Double click the Workstation Information icon in the system tray (bottom right corner of the screen). If this icon is not present run the application object via Start > Network Applications > General Software > Utilities > Workstation Information. The icon should appear. • In the Workstation Information dialog the image version is displayed in the Image/Workstation Details section next to Version. • If the version is 820 or less then you need to update the desktop image.
