My brand-new Force RS feels very stiff and “notchy” – is this normal?

The Force RS gets smoother feeling with use. Essentially, the Kevlar-reinforced drive belts need a chance to break in and become supple (they do not stretch appreciably). Turning the wheel from lock to lock (easy does it now!) for 20-50 cycles will help speed up the break-in process.
