My boyfriend is 14 inches taller than me, im 5ft hes 6ft2. Is the height difference too much?
I have a foot difference between my partner (6’3″) and myself (5’3″). I’ve also dated guys that were even taller. My grandparents also had a foot difference in their heights. I’ve never had any major problems. The only problem is we built a house and some of the things he put way out of reach for me. If he truly loves you he will not care about how tall or short you are.
No, not as long as you love each other. If he’s your soul mate, go for it. My grandparents had about the same hight difference and they were ver happily married for 62 years. Another example is the actor who played ‘Jaws’ in James Bond and his wife) – I think there was a nearly a two foot height difference there. I saw a documentary about a tallish woman who was married to a ‘little person’ – their two year old, averaged sized little boy was taller than his dad! They were happy too. I’m 5ft 1 1/2 and think it would be really useful to have a tall partner as he could reach things out of the kitchen cupboards!
