TOTAL BUTLER always supplies fuel to within British Standards for carbon content, but if you suspect that your heating system is more susceptible to carbonisation than should be ordinary then you should have it inspected by an OFTEC Registered Technician. If they think that your system might be suffering then we can certainly help you out. The majority of our depots provide premium-grade Kerosene that is refined within more stringent carbon limits or ‘char values’ (set by British Standards) than ordinary heating oil.
