My BitTorrent downloads are slow! How do I speed them up!?
* Set your BitTorrent upload speed to about 80% of your maximum internet upload speed. MORE will slow down your whole connection, LESS will give you less priority on other’s people’s upload. * Make sure you have a green light. If you get a yellow light instead that means your computer can’t receive incoming connections, and thus torrents are greatly slowed down. See above for the solution. * Don’t use your internet too heavily for anything else.
