My aquarium has a gray, cloudy look. What is the problem?
If you haven’t changed your carbon in a month, this could be from the carbon not working. It is not working because it is used up. Simply change the carbon. If this doesn’t solve the problem, you could have to used a micron filter. Micron filters filter out particles that are too small for regular filters to catch. Some filters can be used as a part time micron filter. You can also buy micron carbon pouches for some filters. Diatom filters are made just for this use. They use a special powder medium that filters out the small impurities.
