My application works great in the single user mode; how does multi-user synchronization work?
Pendragon Forms has many options for multi-user synchronization. If you are doing pure data collection, you simply obtain a multi-user license to cover each handheld that you are using. For each form, the data collected on the different handhelds is placed into the same table. Each record includes the date and time of creation and the HotSync username of the handheld device. When Pendragon Forms is set up for a work order application, records can be created on the desktop with the username of the appropriate handheld device in the UserName column. Incomplete work orders are automatically sent to the appropriate handheld. After being completed on the handheld, the record is automatically removed. If you are synchronizing bidirectionally, data can also be shared across handheld devices. However, care must be taken when doing this. If two users modify the same record on their handhelds, then whoever synchronizes last wins.
