Once the verification process for your dependent is complete, Secova will include your dependent on the Restatement Report that is sent to Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina the following day. It takes 72 hours for the reinstatement process. 31.) My dependent was termed retroactive to July 1, 2010, because I didn’t complete the verification process. North Carolina General Statute 135-45.4(c)(4) requires that the Plan be notified within 30 days that your dependent is no longer eligible. Because that did not happen, the dependent has been removed retroactively to July 1, 2010.
