There are several conditions that can cause this. One possible cause is a speaker with a shorted voice-coil. All speakers should be checked for operation. Another possible cause is that the combined impedance of the speakers is below the minimum of the amplifier. Beyond two or three pairs of speakers, impedance-matching devices are needed (speaker selector box or impedance-matching volume controls). It is also possible there is an internal problem with the amplifier that will require service attention to correct.
