My Alarm System was not installed by Bevan Security Systems, can Bevan still monitor it?
Yes, In the majority of cases Bevan Security Systems will be able to program your existing panel into our monitoring station. However on the rare occurence that you panel is locked from your previous installing company (Which Bevan Security Never Does), it may be necessary to replace your panel with one that we can access for programming. Repairs and upgrades can also be done if needed. Why does my keypad display “not ready” or not have a green ready light lit? Your keypad is informing you that the alarm system is not ready to turn on (arm). Common reasons for this are that a door or window is not completely closed, a motion detector may be sensing movement, or a previous alarm has not been cleared out of the memory. Correct the condition and your alarm system will be ready to arm. Am I responsible for testing my system regularly? Yes. It is your responsibility to make sure that your system is in good working order. Bevan Security regularly initiates a communications performance test.
