A. Sometimes! If it is one by the same manufacturer it probably will. If it’s a different manufacturer, probably not. With heat pumps, both outdoor and indoor sections must be matched to operate properly. Manufacturers build their heat pumps to be matched to their components. Do not mismatch heat pump systems. Call any manufacturer and they will advise against installing their components with any other brand.
