This means that in addition to basic English characters, your messenger can now display characters for languages such as Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. • The incompatibility you’re experiencing with your AIM Buddies on Trillian is due to Trillian’s lack of Unicode support. Your AIM buddy may have even received the following message from Trillian: “Your friend has just sent you a message using the Unicode character set, and Trillian does not currently support this. Unicode support will be coming soon!.” Unfortunately, this problem will persist as long as your friend continues to use Trillian’s basic version 2.0 and below.
