My agent log contains “[SenderThread] Error sending measurements: Unable to contact server – it has no more free connections” errors. How do I get rid of these?
You need to increase the maximum number of Lather connections on the JON server. Lather is the protocol JON agents use to communicate with the JON server. If your JON server has more than 25 agents reporting into it, you need to increase the max Lather connections to at least the number of agents, ideally more. In the file hq-engine/server/default/deploy/lather-jboss.sar/jboss-lather.war/WEB-INF/web.xml in your JON server installation directory, change the 25 in the following lines to the value suited to your environment.
