I don’t think banana will work in this situation. You can give it for nutrition but it can cause severe cold and cough to your baby. I suggest you to give her vapor rubs and extra fluids, vitamin C product, honey and cinnamon and warm water. These will make her feel better. For more information visit Flu.ca.

I think the banana isn’t going to cure your baby cold, but it will help out since most babies when they are sick they do not want to drink milk. When my son was sick bananas helped my son get some nutrition since he wasn’t drinking milk.
