My 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee stalls, rough idles, and sometimes won start. Any help?
I drive a ’04 Grand Cherokee with about 95,000 miles. Over the last few days I have frequently been having trouble with stalling or even getting it to start. Most of the time when it is not starting, the engine won’t turn over but then again other times it starts to turn over but can’t get going to turn on. When it stalls out, you can see the RPMs decreasing until it just turns off. Does this have something to do with fuel delivery? A: I’m thinking fuel pump here. A common problem on this vehicle. A fuel system pressure test should tell for sure. Take er’ in. The pump is too expensive to just replace without being certain.
