My 1994 Nissan Altima has been sitting dormant for 2 years. What should I do before starting it?
The battery has died and is corroded. I’m not sure what steps I should take before I restart this car. A: If you didn’t put fuel stabilizer in it, your gas is now sort of like varnish. It probably won’t fire. Get a siphon and remove as much as you can, then put in at least 5 gallons. Then hit the key and wait 5 seconds for fuel pump to pressurize the system. You know you need a new battery.
