A! Torque enhancements in Plus II software has shown to be more unstable at some frequencies than the Plus drives, causing torque pulsations. In the latest release of Plus II software, FRN 2.004, a parameter was added called Stability Gain (parameter 324 in Linear List). To set up the drive properly, install the main control board with 2.004. Do an autotune (in sensorless vector mode). Then adjust the stability gain for the most stable operation. This parameter can be adjusted from 0 to 16. It is important that the parameter is not set too high, as this may cause additional instability. It should be set for the lowest value that eliminates the instability.
