My 1 year old chihuahua attacks me and my family?
I have a chihuahua too and i find that he’s INCREDIBLY dominant. He’ll push around other dogs that come round like my boyfriends two labs and his brothers Staffordshire Terrier. I need to be very firm with him to make sure I’m the one in control or he’ll take over. You need to make it clear to him that it is not acceptable for him to bite your foot. One thing that works with my chi is if I lunge at him as if I’m going to bite him (sounds really daft but it works) This is what other dogs in the wild would do and he always takes the hint And for the people out there who say Chis are aggressive etc obviously haven’t met many! I’ve had dogs all my life and I have never met such a nice dog as my Chi, Jack. He was toilet trained to do his business outside in a matter of days, he has never ever chewed anything or been distructive. He absolutely has never EVER been agressive to anybody, in fact he loves everyone he meets and gets upset if people won’t clap him. he is the best dog I could ever
