Must the GMATs be completed before I am accepted into the MBA Program? Under what circumtstances can they be waived?
The GMAT is an MBA requirement. Although a student can begin the application process before taking the GMAT, these scores are required before a students application is considered complete. Applicants with a terminal degree such as on Ph.D, M.D., or J.D. are exempt from the GMAT requirement. Exemptions are also granted to applicants who have a Masters of Science degree from an accredited US college or university as long as the program had a significant quantitative component (i.e. math, engineering, computer science, statistics) and the applicant had at least a 3.2 grade point average.
