You can perform remote installations of Sophos Anti-Virus on your Windows 95/98/Me workstations from your Windows NT server using a login script. • Create a central installation of the Windows 95/98/Me files. • Using a text editor create a file called login.bat containing the text \\\Interchk\W95Inst\setup -inl -a in the directory C:\Winnt\system32\repl\import\scripts, where is the name of your server and Interchk is the shared folder containing the CID. • Assign the login script to the users. Run Start|Programs|Administrative Tools (Common)|User Manager for Domains, select your user(s), choose Properties from the User menu, click Profile to go into the ‘User Environment Profile’ window, then type login.bat in the box for Logon Script Name.
