Must I install slatwall from the floor to the ceiling?
No. You can install a band at a convenient storage height, such as 4 to 6 feet from the floor. The height of this band is generally 1 to 4 feet. You can also install slatwall on everything but the upper wall area, which is less convenient to access for storage (unless you use our robotic storage system). The following photograph illustrates this: This wall is partially covered by slatwall and is complete except for puttying the nail holes and installing the electrical switch and outlet cover plates.
