Must designated entities obtain broadband-related data from service providers?
The Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for state mapping programs presumes that data will be obtained from broadband service providers, although it is not specifically required. The designated entity may collect broadband service data using other methods only if it can be collected of the type, and at the level of granularity, required in the Technical Appendix.
