Must a current year NETS recipient reapply for subsequent years?

Yes. A renewal student must only submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the new year by September 30th of the year in question. However, renewal students who received NETS funds in the previous year will be automatically considered and do not need to file a NETS Application and Master Promissory Note.
