Moving from Ottawa to either Toronto or Moncton – would like pros/cons, please!?
i live in Toronto now, and used to live near Moncton so i think i can compare them! Toronto is definitely a lot faster pace and more expensive. Moncton, and NB in general, is pretty laid-back and relaxed, and rent and everything is a lot lower. Moncton has a lot of great restaurants and pubs downtown, and is a pretty friendly city. It’s not as big as Toronto of course, so it is pretty easy to get around. I’m not really sure what public transit is like there, but it’s usually a good idea to have a car. Finding parking is not as crazy as Toronto! There are a couple nice malls and things to do, but I think restaurants are what it’s mainly known for. hope that was helpful. any other questions feel free to email me!
